LaBelle Orange Blossom Florist is a full circle story. In the early 2000s, Maria discovered floral design through a local career program. A shop placement became a calling, strengthened by years alongside talented mentors at this very location. After two decades of learning the work from every angle including design bench, cooler, front counter, and holiday marathons, she stepped into ownership and kept the studio rooted in what matters most: care, customization, and community.

How we work

Mornings start with a sweep of the orders board, cooler checks, and processing fresh product. Midday can look like anything: a last-minute desk brightener, a refined sympathy spray, or a bold color request for someone who loves saturated tones. The team keeps a wide variety on hand so we can match the look you want rather than forcing a one size fits all design. If you do not see it in the cooler, we will build it while you wait. Clear guidance on what your budget can do, then quick hands to bring it to life.

People behind the petals

We are a true family operation. Maria leads design and client care. Her sons help in the shop and on the road. Fran, an earlier owner who still loves the craft, drops in to lend a hand during busy spells. That continuity matters. There is always someone here who knows the shop’s history and the customers who shaped it.

Stories we carry

Some customers are practically family. We watched one local student order corsages through high school, then return years later for engagement and wedding florals. Another faithful regular stops in weekly for church carnations, a small tradition that is anything but small. These through lines guide our style: attentive, personal, and durable enough to hold real meaning.

Community and care

Quality is non-negotiable, but waste is not our style. When blooms open past our retail standard yet still have life, we turn them into “Give Back” pieces for local hospice recipients, arrangements that restore dignity and joy. We also share skills with nearby community centers through simple, hands-on classes. It is all part of being a neighbor, not just a storefront.

Partners and venues

We are comfortable designing for local churches such as St. Norbert and have created floral work for events connected to landmarks like the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove. We are also a preferred florist option for Orange Mining Co’s event hall, and we frequently fulfill orders bound for UCI medical facilities. These settings require practical coordination and a steady hand.

Our design approach

We aim for the same feel and color story a customer falls in love with online, even when specific stems are substituted for quality or availability. When a change is significant, we call, because trust matters more than copying a photo. The result is an arrangement that feels right, lasts well, and reflects the person you are honoring.
